Wave Trek Rescue is the Northwest’s finest training center for swiftwater and technical rope rescue. We offer a wide variety of rescue courses to meet both professional and recreational needs, drawing from Rescue 3 International and American Canoe Association (ACA) curricula. Our top-notch Rescue 3 instructors are experienced boaters, climbers, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. Leading Facility.  Our one-of-a-kind facility is located on the banks of Washington’s Skykomish River and set amongst the cliffs of the famous Index climbing wall at the base of the Cascade Mountains.Only one hour away from Seattle. Here in Index, we are immersed in our outdoor classroom, workspace and playground, making it an ideal learning space for all our students. Our vast, wooded lot can accommodate large groups and camping.

*Wave Trek Rescue is excited to offer the newly revised technical animal rescue program. This program is designed for rescue professionals as well as animal rescue groups. The Technical Animal Rescue-Water course is the only course in the world that brings floods, rivers and swiftwater into the animal rescue equation.  The Large Animal Advanced Handling class deals with critical situations such as trailer accidents and techniques for moving large animals.
