Wave Trek Rescue
The Leading Rescue Training Center in the Northwest.

Wave Trek Rescue is the leading rescue training center in the Northwest. We offer a variety of rescue classes and custom courses for the professional or the recreational adventurer. Our facility is located on the banks of the Skykomish River, set amongst the cliffs of the famous Index climbing wall. Our course offerings include Rescue 3 curriculum as well as American Canoe Association certification courses. The instructors are top notch in their field and are all outdoor enthusiasts, boaters, climbers and/or skiers with a wealth of experience to draw from. They strive to acknowledge individual student objectives and goals as part and parcel of the course curriculum for the most challenging and rewarding learning experience possible.

Our facility is truly one of a kind. We are able to accommodate large groups or camping needs as we have an ample wooded lot right on the river. We are truly immersed in our playground, workspace, and outdoor classroom here in Index, making it an ideal learning space for all our students, regardless of their professional or recreational background. The Technical animal rescue watercourse is the only course in the world that brings floods and rivers into the equation. Please give us a call for more information.

New for 2008
Wave Trek Rescue will be offering motorized boat handling courses from our rescue facility in Index. We will be offering the use of state of the art I.R.B.’s. These boats are made by AMI boats in Everett Washington.
They are made with a tunnel hull and have excellent tracking and turning ability. They require less horsepower to get them onto a plain. They will be excellent for rescue in the swift water environment.
