This course is a great introduction to whitewater kayaking. The first day is an introduction to rolling in flatwater, equipment choices, and outfitting you in the best gear. Next, we are off to the river for 2 days of easy class I and II paddling. This is an intensive workout where we will be practicing eddy turns, eddy hopping, ferrying, peel-outs, safety techniques, and river reading skills.
